Please keep CRNA’s at Children’s. They are a vital piece in the care of children at the downtown campus, as well as the Kansas location. The OR couldn’t operate without them.

My granddaughter was born with an atrial septal defect and will be looking at cardiothoracic surgery at the age of two years. Pediatric anesthesiology is one of the more critical components of her care, and I would be horrified if there were pediatric anesthesiologist with little experience involved in her care.

My son Everett at just 18 days old was admitted to CMH and received excellent care by all the physicians and staff.

I’m disappointed in the administration for putting profit above patients. Administrators should realize they’re only job is to take care of physicians and medical staff: When people providing care are taken care of, patients have better outcomes.... which brings hospitals money. Administrators are greedy and should be ashamed—they deserve the pay cuts and lay offs, not the physicians and other medical staff.

As a former resident at CMH from 2000-2003 , I am saddened and disappointed to learn Of this decision by current CMH administration. Previously, I was quite proud of my training and knew that I was well prepared for being a hospitalist in large part due to my excellent PICU training . This is extremely frustrating to learn that that good patient care is being sacrificed for the bottom line .

As a physician, I am appalled at your company’s decision to terminate these contracts. It is an especially horrible time to reorganize, given the spread of COVID-19, and then motives for this reorganization are disturbing and nauseating.
