Keep the crossing patrol, very busy roads on both sides of the school.

The dangers posed by the local chippy having mass parking outside, and the many drivers that use this as a main link to the college, these are added to the normal traffic on this particular junction, the risks are great so please retain the child crossing in Cobden/Gladstone junction.

A crossing warden is needed in Crosskeys due to people coming around the bend of Cobden Street. Very busy due to colleage students using this road to get to Crosskeys Colleage. All these cut back when we should be thinking of child safety first.

Given the frequent illegal parking on double yellow lines adjacent to this junction a School Crossing Patrol is vital here.

This is a very dangerous junction and our children need supervision crossing the road to keep them safe. Ridiculous that the council are that penny-pinching that they could put children's lives at risk.

To many schools are losing their lollipop ladies and gentlemen. My boys school lost their a few years ago and there has been to many near misses with kids just running into the road or parents and carers stopping outside the school to drop off even tho there is parking spaces they just dont want to use them

Children need to be kept safe at all times.
When I was a little girl a child in my class got killed going to school and afterwards the council put in place measures to stop this happening so don't go backwards.

We live on Cobden Street and see how my traffic there is in the area. I feel its imperative to the safety of the children that the lollipop safety person is kept.

Ridiculous that a crossing patrol, that would have been implemented following risk assessments, is now considered dispensable. With more cars on the roads?

Council tax go up for less now you want to put the kids in danger at a road junction
