I live near the Meon Valley Railway (now known as the Meon Valley Trail), and walk my dog along it. I was not aware that any changes would take place - however, what was once a meandering track bordered by rich and interesting fauna, has now been altered to a wide, straight track that lacks beauty and character. The track has been re-surfaced and now looks like a train track - basically "urbanized". The new surface is not good for horses, and as a bridleway, this is not acceptable. It is such a shame that an area of outstanding beauty has been ruined.

All the council have done is made the BRIDLEWAY unsuitable and dangerous for horses. Outrageous.

Yes Freddie, I agree keep the railway line. Make sure that your pony club friends sign the petition.
