I agree this bear situation is out of control I am a repeat visitor since my dad brought us there in the 60s it’s both the businesses fault for not securing their trash and tourists who are only thinking of that selfie with a Bear

We need to take care of our wildlife. Fine the businesses and people who disregard the law and feed these bears.

People have no sense these days.. so we need laws to correct their behavior. Sadly this is the case.

Please save our Bears, no one needs to feed them , or get too close. Tourists are making this a problem, that shouldn’t happen. Don’t feed, or go upon one. Please…..

It’s not the bears fault because humans are irresponsible.

The bear/human interaction needs to be stopped in Gatlinburg. The poor bears are paying the price for the stupidity and disregard of humans

Fine them! It’s not fair to our bears! Employees of these establishments should know better than leave the door open! We have bears hungry and unfortunately now depending on humans! Why on earth would you even think it was ok? Visitors should be required to take a class showcasing what happens to our bears if they interact with them - death! Maybe they won’t be so quick to feed them if they understand this concept!
