We the under signed come before the city of Destin, the state of Florida, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers as concerned citizens and property owners on Holiday Isle, Destin Florida hereby respectfully petitioning the following:
1. All City and State land on the East Pass and the Destin Harbor, along with the privately owned Parcel B (#00-2S-24-0000-002-000A, USACOE perpetual easement listed as 101-E-6), remain for recreational use as they have been since 1963, and
2. The US Army Corps of Engineers maintain the existing perpetual easement to all of Parcel B abutting or nearby our properties. This federal perpetual easement is for emergency protection of our property, as well as, dredging and securing the Jetties of East Pass, Holiday Isle and Destin Harbor as it has been since 1963.
