Their are not enough secondary school places in Bath and closing this school puts further pressure on the other schools. Why not try supportive measures rather than closure.

This school must stay open, particularly after the investment already pumped in. A dreadful waste otherwise. So it's had a couple of bad Ofsted reports...so what? Any new set-up is going to have bugs and, from what I have been told Ofsted found a couple of things they weren't happy with, blew them out of all proportion and ignored the +ves. Add to that the sensationalism and misinformation of the media....a toxic mix. The media should be supporting BCA not undermining it.

There must be a secondary school on this, site to serve the communities of Southdown, Twerton, Whiteway and Odd Down

It would be a significant loss for this quarter of the City to lose the current secondary schooling provision, and would lead to even more pupils criss-crossing the city adding to existing traffic congestion.

Closure would leave a large gap in the local educational provision.

Keep it open and don't make a state school into a grammar school just because it's there

It is important to keep this Scholl open, which serves the south side of Bath.

As somebody who fought to save Culverhay, it is an absolute disaster that this has been allowed to happen a second time. I was always against the academy system, as it should be the responsibility of governments to fund the education of our children; and BCA may be one of the first victims of a failing scheme. The school needs saving as its in an area that serves Twerton, Southdown, Kingsway and Odd Down

This school serves an important area of the city and closing it would disadvantage many of those living there.
