Bath schools already oversubscribed. Need spaces for children to go to school near home.

This school has done wonders for my step children ,such a lovely happy school. How many teenagers can say they love school ?mine do.

This part of Bath needs school and a sports/leisure base. This building MUST be retained for these uses.

This is such a regressive step. BCA has always been a real community school. We encourage children to walk or cycle to school and this is the only secondary serving this area. There will be a demand for more South Bath school places when the new Mulberry Park development is finished.

Keep BCA open ! It would be a massive shame if it was too close my daughter is really settling in at the school and she loves it

These children will suffer disruption to their education and will have difficulty getting into new schools due the the selection policies of local academy schools.

A community should have its own local school and the children not be required to do lengthy journeys to attend classes. More school places will be needed in the future and this cost cutting measure is short term thinking and a failure to meet the needs of more disadvantaged areas of town.

In the current free for all approach to educational provision, the interests of local children and communities are too easily ignored.

Its a local school, people shouldn't have to send their kids on a long trip across Bath just so someone can make some money on changing the site or having to pay for new uniforms if anything that will only cause stress for the parents and even more so for the kids who cant just walk to school with friends every morning and be social with people in their area.

As a former Assistant Head Teacher and Head of Faculty at Culverhay for 20 years, I am disgusted with the decision made by Cabot, which is mainly economic. This is a fine school with very hard working, committed staff often with challenging students. The local community of SW Bath needs a community school to serve its catchment. I still work with the staff occasionally and have every confidence in sending my EU teachers for professional development there on day visits, where EU Teachers' evaluations are invariably excellent.
