Save our Bar

The bar and cafe areas are an integral part of the club for many members.

The bar is what separates this gym from others, it’s a great place to chill and catch up with people. Since I have been going we have lost the sauna and the jacuzzi in the pool area and now the bar, while the membership still keeps going up!

It would be a tragic loss. The bar is an integral enjoyable part of the club. To loose it is to loose club respect and the enjoyment of visiting it. So please keep it and gain the respect and loyalty of its members.

This is a much needed resource for the squash section at Nuffield. For team matches & friendlys

Save the bar! We need it for after squash games, especially in hampshire league when we host

The bar is a key social part of Nuffield and it would be tragic to loose it. It’s a great place to meet up with friends after a game of squash or gym class and would be a huge loss if it were to close.

The proposed closure of the bar and café facilities fundamentally undermines that ethos. These are not peripheral amenities, they are central to the club’s social infrastructure and play a critical role in member wellbeing, retention, and community cohesion.

i’ve been a member since 1978 when it was a proper squash Club squash ball and Hampshire leagues go together
