This bank helps a lot of people who can’t easily access Salisbury city centre. Working in Wilton, I find it easier to access the Wilton branch than I do the Salisbury city centre branch!

This is a very short sighted decision in a thriving community which is getting busier daily. New businesses are regularly opening and more people are moving to the area or visiting and discovering the benefits and delights of Wilton. As a business owner this will hugely impact my daily banking procedures and the loss of a cashpoint machine will affect all businesses.

I am Admin Officer at Longford Primary School in Britford and always bank in Wilton on my home. It is a nightmare going into Salisbury branch - especially as there is no parking in the Market area any more and costs to park miles away just to do the banking. This is one step too far Lloyds and there are a lot of businesses in Wilton - plus the Market traders on a Thursday - who will be very much inconvenienced! Please no, no, no!

This is the last bank in Wilton, we have lost several good shops, I do not want to have to travel to Salisbury to do my banking, help keep Wilton alive, keep this bank open.

Lloyds not living up to the rhetoric? ….. Quoted from the corporate website "Community Banking is the face of Lloyds Banking Group…. " So if they're not "IN" the community what value these words?

a town with the number of shops and companies that wilton has needs a bank, there are also a lot of pensioners in wilton and most of them (including my grandparents) have no idea what internet banking is or how to use it

This closure will not only hurt local businesses, but people who do not drive/cannot drive and have mobility issues will also struggle to get into Salisbury to do their banking. It will also cause more traffic on the roads in and out of Wilton, when there is enough already and, more often than not, our local roads are badly congested.

I agree that at least we should have one bank in wilton. It was bad enough when they started to close midweek, really don’t have the time to drive into salisbury twice a week to bank.
