Please do not touch the ATV trail system. This is another area for people to go to ride and we contribute revenue to your area.

We need these trail systems to help sustain economic growth. Many businesses depend on these ATVs! Many places in the North Country used to only be busy during snowmobile season, but now they have a whole other season to look forward to. As an ATV enthusiast myself, I know first hand as my friends and I love planning trips to the Pittsburg area to ride and STAY! We go out to eat, find a place to stay, shop and get gas at the local stores. I know many other people plan trips like this as well. If the road access is taken away, then none of that would be possible. I know people complain about noise, but what about all the motorcycles in the summer that zip up the roads unsafely doing 75 and have loud exhausts. I've been woken up in the middle of the night because of motorcycles in the summer. It's really not fair to punish one group of people when issues happen with other activities as well!

We spend at least two weekends a year enjoying your trial system, staying at local motels, eating in local restaurants and buying gas, ice , pats and accessories etc. We are members of the Metallak Club and support the region.

My girlfriend and I love to ride our atv and utv in New Hampshire responsibly. We enjoy riding in the backwoods for the casual ride enjoying the beautiful views and great trails, however, it is really nice to go into town and enjoy the amenities available to us. We love to ride from town to town, go swimming in an indoor pool in colebrook, go swimming in back lake and Jericho lake, go to dinner in various towns, get gas, go shopping at 'll cote on our utv, and enjoy a great breakfast buffet in log haven tavern. It is because of riding in New Hampshire that I have upgrade to a bigger polaris ranger and then to a polaris general and why we have bought a toy hauler. My girlfriend bought herself a brand new can-am outlander 570 last year and I am upgrading trucks this spring to haul our toy hauler and toys to New Hampshire. We are currently looking into getting a seasonal site in new Hampshire to enjoy the beautiful north country more. I believe it would be detrimental to the economy to close down amenities to atv use.

I own property in Clarksville. I also own snowmobiles and a side by side. The main reason we own is to enjoy the great north woods to it's fullest! Please don't take this away...it will devastate the entire region on so many levels!
