Our 16 year old son, Michael, passed away from cancer this past May. Our family has had a place in Stratford since 2009. Michael learned how to ride on these trails. He was passionate about it. We all are. Some of our very best memories as a family are up on those trails riding, camping out under the stars, or stopping into local restaurants for a nice family meal. It would be heartbreaking to us to know that we couldn’t continue to make memories with our other children up there. Being up on the trails as a family was and still is a very important part of us all being together, spending quality time together in the great outdoors instead of being plugged into video games or glued to phones or iPads. I wish we lived closed to vote, but hope the people that oppose these trails remaining open hear our story and other families as well, and change their minds.

The little riding I had done there is one reason i just spend $14000 on a new side by side in NH. Hoping to return to use it on those trails!

I’m not sure who’s idea it ever was to take away places to ride. It’s a sport and activity that Keeps kids and adults busy with something they enjoy and keeps them out of trouble.

The trail systems and all the great cabin and restaurants make the area an amazing place to visit!
We go several times a year and would hate to loose the opportunity to enjoy such a beautiful place!
