Here is the exact email that was sent out by Dr. Askew:
"It is with great disappointment that I write to tell you that we are discontinuing One Lunch. We had great hopes for this to be a time when students could get additional help, clubs and other organizations could meet, and students would have a chance to have a little "down" time. We have seen a significant decrease in the number of opportunities available to students during One Lunch and an uptick in disciplinary concerns.
We will stick with the Advisory Schedule that was posted in the Eagle Express for tomorrow and will return to the traditional lunch schedule on Wednesday. An announcement will be made on Wednesday letting students know to report to their third block class unless they have L1. As a reminder, here is the traditional schedule:
Block 1-7:20-8:55
Block 2-9:00-10:35
Block 3-10:40-12:45
L1: 10:35-11:05
L2: 11:10-11:40
L3: 11:45-12:15
L4: 12:15-12:45
Block 4-12:50-2:25"
