I oppose the building of condos/town homes in old Ashburn. I travel through there frequently and absolutely think the roads do not support such growth. Please keep the nostalgic feel in that small area of town.

We have enough homes in Ashburn and enough areas that more could be built if needed. Leave history alone!

Please leave some of Ashburn's history alive. We have enough homes and shopping centers and traffic!

Preserving the histroy and feel of this area is very important and significant construction could seriously damage these things, so I am opposed to the current plans for development in that area.

To whom it may concern,
Saving old Ashburn is much more then just not wanting new homes built. It is a sense of pride throughout the community and the last little bit of Ashburn that people remember before it began getting built out. I grew up in Ashburn and have been a fireman for Ashburn since I was 16 (10 years ago). This is a sense of pride for us as well. We recently upgraded our station out of necessity due to growing membership and the need for our trucks and specialties thoughout the county. There's a tremendous amount of "old school" in the firehouse due to our history and the history of Ashburn. I'm all for welcoming new people and building homes and restaurants and everything. But please, just let the people still hold onto this little section that helps make Ashburn what it is. A "small" town filled with a great atmosphere for families to grow up and live.

Ashburn needs Old Ashburn to preserve the history of the town. I graduated from Broad Run High School in 1985, and Ashburn is not even a shadow of what it used to be. The couple of times I visited, I couldn't even find the high school. That is so sad.

This is absurd! Leave well enough alone-- this quaint little area doesn't need development to stay alive and appreciated.

Development and its drain on natural resources and infrastructure in this area needs to slow; it's getting out of hand.

Restore some of the history and "character"
And don't make traffic even worse by over development.
