This road is too small to take on any more traffic and the schools are already at capacity. We need to keep some of the charm of old Ashburn, there is no place for multi family housing on Ashburn Road that makes sense other than for the benefit of the builders.

Ashburn is turning into a see of concrete boxes with these data centers and high density residential areas.
No parks, no history. Enough!

The only loophole is our Board of supervisors fails to correctly enforce the existing zoning. It reads in plain English but they can't see the difference between squares and circles. The township is made of circles and a square doesn't fit. This and similar plans for the area are NOT consistent with the existing community. They have a legal obligation to protect this area and allowing this development is a failure to do so.

Why destroy the character of our heritage? Ashburn is almost 100% strip shopping and data centers. A bit of history and architectural character is exactly what we can't afford to lose.

Old Ashburn doesn't have the infrastructure to support this type of high occupancy development. Lack of sidewalks, above ground power lines, challenging intersection at Hay/Ashburn for EMS. Plus all surrounding homes are single family.

This area of Ashburn was never designed to have high occupancy housing. The current zoning loophole is nothing more than that, a loophole. It needs to be changed to match the existing zoning of the surrounding areas and keep what the city planners always envisioned for Ashburn. Family homes with no more than 4 homes per acre.
This area of Ashburn cannot accommodate the increased traffic without having drastic adverse affects to the community.
We strongly object to any new development with occupancies higher than 4 homes per acre.

The most concerning issue pertains to safety. The intersection of Hay Road and Ashburn Road is unable to handle the existing traffic, let alone accommodate approximately 200 additional vehicles into the already congested area. This is dangerous for the children and families who walk in this area and for those who utilize the adjacent WO&D trail. In addition to increased noise level, the unprepared growth will delay emergency vehicles and the bordering fire department from access to their destination, possibly endangering human lives needing help at dire times.
The nearby schools will foreseeably face overcrowding and the bus stops will not be able to provide for the children living in the additional hundred plus living spaces.
The RC zoning for "unlimited" residents is antiquated and did not factor today’s community. In lieu thereof, we request and support a ZOAM PH-4 as designated use for the RC zoning.
