Old town Ashburn is a beautiful relic of a time long since gone. Please don't allow it to be developed. IT's part of our rapidly disappearing history in Loudoun County.

Above all else It is a safety and quality of life issue. Inappropriate location for density townhomes.

I am astonished by the destruction of many old buildings in Loudoun and now in Old Ashburn. We have no heritage left. Even Leesburg is changing. I understood the man how bought old Ashburn was to save the buildings. I'm hating Loudoun more and more because developers are bulldozing through it and no one seems to care.

I moved my business to Old Ashburn last year. I love the quiet and calmness. When you turn onto Ashburn Road from either Glouchster or Waxpool you step back in time. I love the look and feel of the area. The thought of this area being built up and destroyed is heartbreaking.

I'm very concerned about the proposed residential development on Ashburn Road near Hay Road. As a resident living near the intersection of Ashburn Road and Hay Road, I observe a very congested roadway condition on a daily basis. There is absolutely no roadway capacity to accommodate the additional traffic generated by the development. I also concerned about the safety of pedestrians and bicyclists using the WOD trail. The county supervisors must do whatever needed to stop this development plan. Thanks,

Yeah, not interested in another couple hundred cars crowding my little 2 lane hometown road, just to enrich another developer. I don't care if it adds county tax revenue. It's time to slow county growth after a couple of decades of record development. Do the right thing Supervisors, or buy a house on Ashburn Road and enjoy the fruits of your lack of foresight.

Ashburn Road has already been poc marked with numerous struggling strip malls. A once beautiful road has been permanently scarred with buildings that barely keep tenants. I humbly ask that this kind of damage not be allowed to continue. Why must townhouses be crammed into every little bit of land? Does anyone find the townhouses at the corner of Hay Road and Ashburn Road attractive? Please do not allow the remaining history and character of old Ashburn to be destroyed.

Ashburn Road can't handle the amount of traffic that is currently has, much less adding all the additional cars that would use that road should more multi-family zoned residences be built here.

I love driving on old Ashburn Road. Now I'm not so sure since some idiots tore down the cute little old house on the corner of Ashburn Road and Hay Road. It's now ridiculously replaced with 4 new homes with no room to park for guests. I just realized that a Victorian looking house not too far was demolished recently, so disappointing! New townhomes or condos will be built there. It's a no no!! I wouldn't ever change anything on old Ashburn Road. Loudoun County is getting overcrowded.

I live in the Cedar Lane Elementary district and commute along Ashburn Road to Hay Road daily to the Ashburn Library. This intersection is already extremely dangerous, with frequent accidents and constant evening traffic tie ups. Old Ashburn was once a charming area to drive through, but in the 7 years I have lived here, it has become an unpleasant traffic nightmare with houses piled on top of each other. The four new homes at the corner of Hay Road are already a disaster, the county doesn't need to make the same mistake possible again on an exponentially worse scale.
