Don't need condos, townhomes or any other building in that location. Those buildings are part of Ashburn then, now and in the future. First house I lived in when moving to Virginia is the one in the middle. Lots of memories. There are plenty of other sites to be used. Don't get so greedy you snatch up the integrity of a small town.

It's an absolute shame the amount of commercial greed the decision makers of Loudoun display.

In the late 50's I was a salesman for a food distributor and some of my customers were in this quite little village of Ashburn. It is a part of America that must be retained or we will lose its heritage of that wonderful era.

Almost all of what made Loudoun the most desirable place to live and gave it so much charm and appeal has been destroyed for the sea of endless townhouses. Don't deplete the last bits of rich history and country feel that's managed to survive this long.

I grew up in Ashburn and visit often. Due to development overload it already makes me feel lost every few months there's new traffic routes. I think Ashburn and all states deserve to keep some old historic charm vs cookie cutter condos and homes.

tearing out our history is never advisable. I'm all about new construction, but not at the expense of some of the few remaining (and in good repair) old homes and buildings in the area.
