OJ Sports provides an invaluable after school sports club. Highland Council should be using common sense rather than trying to alienate hardworking individuals providing a service.

Another example of the council getting it wrong. The classes are a brilliant way to promote healthy living which the council bangs on about all the time. Its fun, a great way for kids to burn off some energy, great for kids to learn about team work and lots more. Its always the good hard working people that suffer. Hope the council will see all the support OJ sports has and re consider.

OJ sports has been amazing and has given my son confidence and belief in himself through sport! he recently took part in OJ's run for smiles 5k which raised a great amount for the Highland Hospice. He looks forward to his OJ day, not only because of the sports but also to see his friends again and take part in team playing.

Oj sports is a fantastic club run by dedicated staff. Both my children attend weekly and I have seen their confidence grow and their enthusiasm for trying new things is great. This also provides an opportunity for the kids to see how heathly compition is a good thing.

OJ Sports gives the kids something to focus on.Enjoyment out of sport and helps their confidence no matter what level of fitness. The education department should use this to their advantage and demonstrate what can be done when working in partnership

My daughter loves OJ Sports after school club. She is sporty but a little overweight and OJ gives her a fantastic workout. She comes home red in the face, breathless and very happy having enjoyed lots of games whilst getting that all important exercise. She is in a safe environment with her peers in an area deemed with "multiple social deprivations". PLEASE DON'T CAUSE A RISE IN FEES and widen the health rift between the haves and the haves not. Many thanks to OJ and team for a fabulous service and for your generosity towards Coulhill.

All 3 of my kids attended OJ sports classes at Merkinch Primary,,they all benefited in different way,, oldest learnt he loves shinty and was picked to play for the school team,, i wasnt aware Inverness had classes for this sport!! My middle child has co-ordination problems and little confidence which has grown every week she attends,, she was also the 2nd fastest child in the beep test!!! My youngest has seen her confidence boosted and all 3 have also gained healthy eating tips along the way, Highland Council you need to be encouraging these classes to create a new healthier generation which in turn will be fit to work.

We have to do all we can to save OJ. It is an important healthy activity that the kids love doing. Why spoil this just to make money for the council. Surely kids health should be the most important thing on the council's agenda - NOT profits!!!!!

I work in an after school club in one of the schools that run OJ classes and have to say the children we have that attend absolutely love it. We have also had OJ in during our holiday clubs and he was fantastic with the children. It's a great fun way of the children staying active and healthy. To take that away from the children would be very unfair.

My kids adore going to OJ sports and we ate fortunate that we are able to pay , this is an invaluable resource for children in the highlands as it is within our local school and does not involve us all travelling significant distances to access appropriate sporting activities for our individual chidren which has a massive impact on the environment and the Lola roads

my daughter loves going to oj....I think it's fantastic as it gives all the kids a very varied selection of sports which allows them to experience multiple disciplines all contained within the safety of the school. typical highland council.... no real thought about health and well being.... all talk and reversed action!!

Highland Council should be ashamed. My youngest child, who is not sporty at all, has attended OJ Sports since it started and really enjoys it. He has tried many new sports and made lots of new friends. He has gained so much confidence and comes home every week red in the face and smiling from ear to ear. Thanks to OJ, and his team, my son has joined the school hockey team. There is healthy competition at OJ but EVERYONE is included equally regardless of ability or fitness level. This is unfortunately not the case with all the clubs my child attends! In October we took part in the Run for Smiles with other families in our area. It was a fantastic day out and thanks to OJ’s generosity organising the event £8000 was raised for Highland Hospice. School halls and facilities should be for the use of the community they serve but unfortunately the charge levied by Highland Council (there is no price list on the Highland Council website) is kept centrally and not given back to the individual school. In November 2013 we were charged £64.88 for an hour’s use of a school facility. This is daylight robbery.
