This program encourages students to creative problem solve, cooperate with others, think on their feet, and work hard at success. I cannot think of a more pertinent program for students to thrive in their future lives as adults. The skills learned thru OOTM are skills being lost in our society. Perhaps the administration could take a closer look at the lasting value of the program before phasing it out.

This has been one of the best things in my life and I would be extremely upset if only seven people in our school got to participate in this amazing extracurricular club.

Odyssey of the Mind has changed me as a person. It’s helped me to grow into the person that I have become today and helped me to form some of the greatest friendships I believe I’ll ever have. Cutting odyssey down to one team, and saying you “know how it works” “a club will suffice” will never EVER do. I am disappointed in our district authority and their lack of creative support.

People shine in different areas and if you get rid of OOTM than you’re depriving people of an creative outlit. You’re always telling us to do extra curricular activities, and now you’re slowly getting rid of one. You wouldn’t do this to sports, why do it to an art program?

Woodstown kids deserve better than to have arts programs constantly cut.
