The purpose of a hunting dog is to hunt, and to train to hunt we need to expose the dog to realistic hunting conditions. Game birds are raised to be released for hunting and also provide testing situations. Our sporting traditions are our rights. We work hard to train our dogs to be the best they can be, and we love them and our sport with a passion, and will not quietly allow the animal rights activists to use this bill as another one of their methods to undermine this tradition.

Hunting and field trials are a long time tradition that should not be taken away.

Fishing derbies, turkey derbies, and buck competitions have been a huge part of my life and are something I look forward to every year! The healthy competition amongst sportsmen is like nothing I’ve ever seen and these derbies help to bring new hunters into the sport! Doing away with these competitions would defund so many things that bring great opportunities to hunters of all ages and skill levels!

This is ridiculous. You will lose money from registered fish tournaments. Motels and restaurants will feel the brunt of this illogical law.

Should our elected representatives be working in something a little more important like jobs and infrastructure rather than persecuting hunters and Fishermen. For the people pushing this bill is should be require that you have evidence that there is any sort of issue and what benefit your bill will produce. Remember the money contributed by Hunters via the Pittman–Robertson Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act https://wsfrprograms.fws.gov/Subpages/GrantPrograms/WR/WRFinalApportionment2018.pdf

Please stop pushing your personal agenda on the rest of the state. Let cities and counties run their own respective district. Just because you do not agree with what we do means you have to stop our way of life. Recognize that people have differing opinions and respect that. Do not pass this bill!
