Hunting with dogs is a long standing tradition and should be expanded in ny to allow hunting of bears with dogs

This is a foolish proposal, what difference does it make cause people are going to fish and hunt anyways.

If this passes...I ask all sportsmen to take one year off of purchasing license....see how the system likes that loss of revenue

I have fished many ice tournaments and they have become an anual activity for twenty years. This bill is taking my rights away .

This is one of the most insane laws that o have heard of. Most of nys is within a forest or body of water that is huntable/ fishable. Most organizations from the state have some kind of derby that is a fund raiser. If this law passes this means an end to ALL of these functions. All around terrible idea.

Contests and derbies generate a significant amount of tourism in the Adirondacks. These events do no more harm to our natural resources than individuals do when hunting, fishing and trapping for sport and/or survival. Please do not pass this bill

Hunting is our heritage and regardless how we choose to legally pursue game, we shouldn't be denied.

Family traditions should be encouraged, not discouraged.

Unbelievable that some people believe that just because your tourney practices CPR this bill won't effect you. This is lazy thinking at best and pure ignorance at worst. You must understand the people who sponsor and pay for these bills DON'T WANT ANY HUMAN/WILDLIFE INTERACTIONS AT ALL. They will chip away at our god given rights until they get what they want. Please don't be another dolt that believes everything the gov does wont effect you. They have an end goal in mind.

Would we be better served organizing a Star Trek or video game contest? Love the OUTDOORSMEN in your midst. They are genuine.

These tournaments are a huge draw to the Adirondacks which brings in commerce for businesses and rentals. Tournaments follow a strict set of rules and many encourage conservation through responsible hunting or fishing practices. This law would eilimate the opportunities for us to have these conversations as well as remove an essential component to the survival of the Adirondacks, tourism. Please vote no.

Born and raised in the adirondacks. Be a shame and I piece of my soul would be missing if people tried to take this part of my life away.
