Sporting competitions are huge economic boosters to the upstate NY area people flock the right times a year to small towns everywhere the correct time of year to take advantage of them. Someday towns this is their time of year that the local businesses make most of their income. This bill would hurt and push even more residents out of NY . Sportsmen are the leading funders to conservation take outdoor sporting competions away and everyone's outdoors will suffer.

Like me a ton of children get their start outdoors and angling at snapper and fishing derbies . This bill is poorly written and I would knowing why it was developed and what species is threatened by a derby or contest. John
