if Surf Farm is approved to eliminates driving range and holes 1,2,9 holes 3-8 will become 690 units high density housing and next step is entire neighborhood could be rezoned to high density

NO on Surf Farm!! SAVE the golf course. There are plenty of private golf courses, but few public ones around Newport Beach. The public needs a place to play golf that is affordable! The golf course is packed every day with golfers young and old. Use the money to fix it up instead of building a surfing venue when the ocean is 4 miles away. Makes no sense to build a Surf Farm.

I agree that we do not need a surf farm in this area where there is an ocean and classes right down the road. Also the people that use the golf course include young families teaching their kids to play who may not be able to afford the expensive courses in Newport Beach, and retired seniors. It’s a gift to the area. Also the golf course provides green belts that are good for the environment. Finally, if the plans to build on the front and back nine go forward and are combined with the developments on Bristol, we will need to look at how the infrastructure and traffic patterns will be able to sustain the increase in population.

We all worked hard when we put in the
Fire Station to save what remains of the golf course and surrounding area.
