This golf course and driving range are “great escapes” from the daily grind. I love going to the range in the evening with my kids and sharing a bucket of balls to practice for our next round and it’s wonderful way to enjoy their company before they’re grown and gone.

The Newport Beach golf course is a tremendous resource for coastal Orange County and is much loved by the local community. My life would be poor without the Newport Beach golf course. I urge you to keep it thriving.

Insane. Noise levels under the normal airplane take-off path directly over the golf course, as proposed for housing - regularly exceed 85dBA (I have measuder this using Class 1 microphone tech) - a neurological and autism etc human-damage threshold for repeated exposures. That’s why Switzerland, Germany and France etc implemented this as the legal limit, above which large fines can be imposed. I hope you are prepared to be sued for millions of dollars for long-term human mental and aural damage to the residents of housing proposed for this golf course area!

This is the last affordable golf course with a driving range in the area. It has been a staple of the community for the last 40 years and helped thousands of people learn the game of golf. Additionally, Original Pizza serves as the best sports bar in Newport Beach. The community doesn't need an overpriced novelty surf park with the ocean only a mile away. This is another deep-pocketed real estate developer vanity project that nobody in the community wants, asked for, or needs. TopGolf is in the process of going bankrupt, this proposed surf park will last even less time. Stop letting developers dictate the use of open recreational land in our cities

This course has given tens of thousands of children and adults and opportunity to learn the wonderful game of golf. In addition, it is a beautiful open space that should not be defiled by more over-priced houses beneath the airport
