It would be a tragedy to the LLyn to close the cinema for people , local bands and the dance school. We go the cinema at least once a week.

As the only facility of this kind within 50 miles, it would be a great loss to the culture of Pwllheli and surrounding areas.

Mae hyn yn amser hynod anodd i'r cyngor, ac i bob sefydliad sector cyhoeddus. Cofiwch mai Toriaid Llundain sy'n gyrru'r toriadau ideolegol yma sy'n brathu pob cyngor, beth bynnag ei liw gwleidyddol.

To remove the theatre and the library will take the heart out of the middle of the town.

This is a fantastic community asset. Having recently moved to the area, I would be devastated if it closed! Not only does it keep me culturally connected - with recent showings of arthouse films like The Lobster and Bladerunner - but it's a great place to watch blockbusters like Star Wars. It's a popular antidote to bland and expensive multiplexes and part of the glue that holds Pwllheli together. There needs to be a more of an effort to keep it open, and make it more commercially viable. The savings made by closure would be far outweighed by the negative impact on the area.

The cinema in Porthmadog has closed, events are few and far between in Harlech. We need somewhere like the Pwllheli centre; there is nowhere else within easy reach.

It would be awful if this Cinema closes. So many people like myself use it so regularly as we do not wish to travel further to the next cinema - Llandudno

A fantastic local venue used by local people. Why should we suffer when bigger towns are receiving investment?

The only regular cinema left in South Gwynedd. Also a very valuable asset to host numerous other cultural events and public meetings.

This is a wonderful and much needed facility. Without it people of Llŷn would be deprived of cultural life.

It's a fair old distance to another cinema. This place needs to be saved.

Charge a bit more if you need to and maybe run a fundraising lottery but please keep it open. It is an excellent venue and a wonderful building

Such a fantastic little cinema. Been an absolute god send for us on wet days over the years.
