We must not be deprived of this valuable resource. Neuadd Dwyfor succeeds in promoting a wide variety of culture from the local area, from other areas of Wales and across the world. All interests and ages ranges should be able to be continue to be informed, educated and entertained at this venue. The local population has no other such facility and we would be poorer still if it is taken from us.

A facility which has been enjoyed over the years and would be a sad loss to the whole of the community.

The cinema/theatre is at the heart of the town and the Welsh- speaking community and should not be allowed to be closed.

This is our closest venue for theatre and film whilst Harlech is closed. It is very important we keep it open.
It is a wonderful venue.

Best cinema i've ever visited, and the only in the Lleyn Peninsula. Then the closest is Llandudno which is miles away. PLEASE!

I use the cinema and theatre in Neuadd Dwyfor regularly. Tonight I am going to Cyngerdd Cynan and on Monday am I will go to see Lady in the Van. I would be devastated if the cinema was closed. What a blow to the area.

Neuadd Dwyfor is an invaluable cultural facility for the residents of and visitors to Pwllheli , the Llyn, Porthmadog and surrounding areas. Being in our mid Seventies, my husband and I use it regularly to see films and dramas because it is more accessible than Caernarfon or Bangor or Venue Cymru. Night driving is not so easy for older people especially in bad weather and more costly too to travel longer distances. If this facility were to close we would not therefore find ourselves able to use the alternatives. The Live streaming of high quality performances of Drama, Musicals,Ballet from Major Companies has been developed to make them accessible to residents in rural areas. What a tragedy if our council deprives us of this. The events provide cultural experiences for all ages and contribute hugely to the quality of life. You are of course aware of the high percentage of older people in our area. It is extremely important for older people to be able to get out and enjoy cultural events. When we visit Neuadd Dwyfor we take along an 85 year old neighbour who lives alone and who otherwise would not be able to go. However, we would not travel any further, even to Caernarfon, because the drive is no longer so easy for us especialy in the dark or the rain. . Please, please find a way to keep Neuadd Dwyfor open.

I go often to concerts and films at Neuadd Dwyfor. I'd really miss it & am horrified by the prospect of losing it. I'd be willing to work as a volunteer to help it continue.

Other libraries in Llyn are under threat. You MUST keep this one open as it will serve the whole peninsula. Older people cannot travel to C'fon or Bangor for films and theatre. Penrhyn and Porthmadog people come to Pwllheli for these facilities. A very wide area is served.

This area is rapidly becoming centered culturally around Bangor and Caernarfon. Please dont turn the peninsula into a cultural desert which will appeal to only holiday makers. This venue brings the life back into the area..

Don't take away an integral part of the community! Where else can locals watch films and shows as well as do research in the library? Or attend story time with their children? There is no entertainment venue for miles around- don't get rid of a vital part of our community!
