Save Netley Abbey Chemist

This is a vital resource for the community and also a wonderfully friendly chemists! There will be a lot of older people in the community who massively benefit please find a way to save this!

Please do not close another of our local shops it’s more convenient than Blackthorn and due to busy Hamble Lane

My mother is poorly and it helps just having the chemist down the road from them. I expect any elderly / disabled person would feel the struggle.

This is vital in a village full of elderly people and families with young children who may not have transport to go elsewhere especially when they are unwell!

This chemist is a vital part of Netleys community.

Definitely need to keep

Always use this pharmacy and the service is brilliant.

I’m 58 yrs old it’s always been there, it’s what this village is about it’s our history, and a much needed local service we must save this it’s been here longer than blackthorn

Williams Chemist in Netley Abbey is a vital assett to the community. They are outstanding and extremely helpful. The closure of this chemist will cause significant problems for our elderly residents whom I often witness seeking advice. I have been to see Cyril numerous times for advice for both me and my daughter he has always been extremely helpful. This will be a huge loss to Netley if closed.

Please keep this precious lifeline open

Williams is a community shop and easy for residents of Netley to access. Since the surgery has moved out of the village it has become hard for those without cars to get to the surgery and the pharmacy attached to it.

We need to save the chemist, what will we do without our lovely knowledgeable chemists and the great staff that bend over backwards to help all of there customers.

I know you can have prescription delivered but its not about prescriptions.

One issue to consider is that its closure will put a lot of pressure on other chemists. Our surgery is in Woolston but we had to swap chemists as the attached one was always so busy that they constantly made errors with our prescriptions

Invaluable to elderly community who require regular prescriptions.

Losing the chemist is like losing a doctor. The staff are so good and the chemists more obtainable than the doctors and extremely knowledgeable. Older people cannot get to Blackthorne chemist very easily and need to talk to someone not just a prescription delivered. If you can get there with added traffic where do we park. Will they open on a Saturday as netley do. They should close Blackthorns. Hamble have a chemist so should Netley especially with all the new housing you will find it even harder to get an appointment Dave our Chemist
