I have multiple sclerosis, my medication gets delivered here, near to my home. I work at Revitalise a disabled respite where guest visit, and also can get their medication, pads and essential needs.
Signing this petition on behalf of myself and my Grandmother who has lived in Netley Village all her life for the past 78 years. Regularly uses this pharmacy as it’s conveniently located and within walking distance from her property. Closing this would not work for the long time residents in Netley Abbey
I do not have a car and because of health issues now would find it impossible to get to blackthorn, only if I paid out for a Taxi , were as I can very slowly walk to my chemist at the moment, all the staff are so helpful and kind . PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE!!!!!!!
Please do not close Williams Chemist as I work in the care home right opposite the chemist it is very handy if a resident needs toiletries we can just go over to the chemist to get them or to take a resident out over there to get the toiletries. Also there is a lot of elderly people in the area.
One issue to consider is that its closure will put a lot of pressure on other chemists. Our surgery is in Woolston but we had to swap chemists as the attached one was always so busy that they constantly made errors with our prescriptions
We need our chemist
Too far for many elderly and disabled Netley residents to collect their prescriptions from Hamble!

Every village needs a Post Office and a pharmacy, this building has been both. WHen Blackthorn pharmacy opened another chemist opened on Coronation Parade in Hamble so it is possible for these premises to remain a chemist just need somebody else to run it!!
