I know how important neighbourhood policing is in my area (Northolt) and I believe this would be a dangerous false economy. They should scrap Police and Crime Commissioners before they scrap PCSOs.

Ditch this ill-considered scheme now or we could see the end of neighbourhood policing as we have come to know it in the capital.

Crime is not falling only the lack of reporting it has and the changes to the statistics massaged to make senior officers loook good

This is vital to keep crime levels down and will be a terrible loss to all of our communities.

One cut back we shouldn't make is with our police force, crime is high and continues to rise, nobody feels safe as it is and police patrols are already very limited

PCSO s are essential in providing pro-active policing in the community rather than the purely reactive policing that has generally resulted from cuts already inflicted on keeping Londoners safe.

Our PCSO is a re-assuring sight in the neighbourhood and does an excellent, proactive job.
PCSOs are of great value to our communities. They have done fantastic job and continue to so. The MPs should loose their jobs not the Police. This cuts to the Police should stop after they have saved 600 million. What else do they want thePolice (being the backbone of the country) to do?

Safer Nieghbourhood Policing is a life line to so many residents, losing this type of Policing would lead to a rise in crime and Insecurity.
PCSO's have played a major role, they have broken down barriers in communities which have existed for many years, losing these Officers would have a detrimental effect to everybody.
