We know our neighbourhood PCSOs really well. They provide a real link and support for our community. They must be kept. They know the grass roots have built relationships

With you all the way, but what can we expect from this Government, who think only of themselves and their rich friends, be glad when they are put out.

PCSOs have been an essential part of the most successful form of community policing that we have seen in London. It would be a tragedy to see them go.

It seems as though there is no thought for the welfare of the ordinary man in the street - how about cutting out some of the dead wood in the houses of commons and Lords- that would certainly go a long way towards keeping our streets safe!

This is by far one of the most short sighted views in modern times, this attempt to save money will in no doubt have a huge impact on those that feel and are vulnerable leaving them in a state of abandonment, having vertually no police presence on the streets on a regular basis will in my view only lead to an increase in Anti Social Behaviour which in turn will lead to more crime on all counts, this decision must be re-considered without fail.

I think the contribution of our PCSOs to keeping our neighbourhoods safe is grossly underestimated. My first-hand experience is that PCSOs are an invaluable segment of policing in London. Lets find a way to keep our PCSOs.

I am a vulnerable adult, single parent with a a school going child under 16 years, reducing the number of community policemen will be a big mistake which will greatly impact on humanity.... It's a life line that keeps/makes us feel safe.

We need to protect this valuable very visible service. With the influx of European known criminals which this government knowingly with their mickey mouse border controls, is allowing too take place. In addition to the fact that for many of them unlawful entry to properties, stealing, pick pocketing, begging and other minor crime is an accepted way of life in their countries /communities.
I believe that local policing achieves more realistic results all over the Country.
