The club is safe and the doors will remain open. I am honestly stunned by the outcome but this victory belongs entirely to the people who stood by this place when it needed them most.

This Place Has Taught Kids So Much, Not Just With Boxing But With Life In General. Been With A Family Of Boxers Since Early 1950s, Would Kill To See It Go... It's Helped Alot Of People Get Fit, Achieved Champions And Taught Discipline Over The Years... Nechells Green Amateur Boxing Club

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people care about this club. If you have a moment today please help us reach that hundred mark so we can show the council how many lives they have touched.

This club has been doing wonderful work for its community for many years. My son has trained here for 12 years. It's such a shame that the council wants to sell up, they seem hell bent on taking away everything that is good just for profit. They should be ashamed of themselves.
By closing down facilities such as this, we will find ourselves spending a lot more on youngsters who suddenly find themselves with nowhere to go but a lot of time on their hands to get involved in things we don't want them to be doing. Getting kids back on track costs a lot more than keeping them on track!
Having been a youth worker in the area. I've seen many services and provisions taken away. The boxing club plays a huge part instilling discipline into minute of the young people that live in the area . Save our gym
This club turned my life around from spending time on the streets up to no good to learning discipline respect and getting fit in the 80s I've done my best to put back everything I gained from this club on a voluntary basis It will be a sad loss to the local community if it closes
Im a mom of two boxers used to train there .... its a family run who care about the boxers ..... children of all ages go and it keeps them well disaplined ..... Without these find of clubs there be more kids on the street causing problems as they be bored .
The future generation of Nechells need a focus and structure . Closing clubs like this is forcing our children out on the street.

This club is my home! I boxed here for years and It made me who I am today. The coaches and the people there help the younger generation not only to box but to build character and stay of the streets! This is more than a club it's an institution! NABC for life!
