i have one question what will happen to the students enrolled for 2016-2017 will they be able to finish the course there or will the have to find another colledge to finish it . and why did they not tell my daughter they were cancelling it .is it just to get her tuition .we signed a 1 year lease for a room .this just sounds like nbcc is trying to screw the students of the police foundations

I would like to know what career possiblities you would have after obtaining this program. Does anyone have any clear employment that this course would give you?

Please sign this petition so our kids can finish their education and the instructors can keep their jobs. We have enough unemployment in our province without adding more to it. Our kids deserve to finish this course so they can become responsible citizens contributing to our tax system and our society. We need them to stay in our province.

As a graduate from the NBCC criminal justice program I believe the police foundations course should stay. Like it says in the article, a lot of my friends who were in course have great jobs now whether it be RCMP, CSC, provincial corrections etc. Getting rid of the course would be a big mistake!

The Police Foundations Program at NBCC is more then just a course it's like a family. The teachers care so much about your learning and the learning atmosphere is top notch. The best two years of my life were spent at this amazing facility with great class mates and amazing teachers. This course more then prepared me for the Atlantic Police Academy and cemented the idea of being a police officer into my mind. I will never forget the course and I really hope that it can continue for many years to come because it really does have a lot to offer those interested in law enforcement.

although I wasn't able to finish the course my mentors from first second year have changed my life and I think of them every day. I am still pursuing my passion in the law enforcement industry and thanks to them I will never forget where I came from and how they truly shaped me into who I am today. The course is an amazing course, you learn so much and all of the teachers are amazing.

I was a NBCC graduate of the protective services program and I agree that the amount of time and efforts these great professional put into our learning can not go unnoticed. Our government needs to realize what an asset these courses, instructors and course are to our society.
