Help stop the deportation of Shaminder (Sam) Singh Kang.  Shaminder has resided in Canada for over 35 years.  He didn't get his citizenship because he was working hard, paying taxes and supporting his wife and 6 young children.

He has no criminal charges against him and he his not a threat to society.  He has not had a hearing, instead the courts abandoned his case and are moving forward with deporting him.  Sam deserves to have a hearing.  His children need their father in their life in order to attain a strong family bond.  They have a right to know their father and be able to have a well rounded life.  A deportation will severely impact Shaminder's family.

As a community we strongly believe family should stay together and therefore, Shaminder (Sam) Singh Kang should be given a chance to stay in Canada to help his family not only financially but also to be present in his children's lives as they grow.

In our current economy, we should be trying to keep families together not take them apart causing further burden on the community and social services.

We need as many signatures as possible by March 27th.  Please take a moment to sign this petition and help stop a loving father from being deported.  Spread the word and help the children.

Thank you.

35 years and no criminal record. What is the point of deporting him? Its just cruel.

35 years is a lifetime. This man has built his whole life here and deserves better than this treatment.

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Why are we tearing a father away from his kids when he has followed the rules his whole life.
