Save Music Row by stopping the demolition of buildings and issue a historic overlay immediatly

It's important because the arts district known as Music Row is one of a kind, whereas 70% of the music people listen to and purchase has been recorded there over the past 60 years. Music Row holds international esteem and draws tourists from all over the world who spend billions of dollars in the local economy - all drawn to Nashville because of MUSIC ROW. It's not enough to save a few buildings and it's more than the buildings we want to save, we want to preserve the history - many of the legends that recorded on music row have passed away, and still to this day musicians from all over the world move to Nashville and visit our city to record their albums in Music Row recording studios.

So far 15 historic buildings with deep history have already been torn down in the 2 mile radius with others slated to be torn down. Predatory developers want to turn Music Row into Condo and Hotel Row - they have utter disregard for the arts districts rich history and are only looking to line their pocket books without the foresight and consideration to what this will do to our local economy for years to come. Most of which are from out of town - who will just pack up and leave when the job is done.

We has American citizens, Tennessee Residents and the People of Nashville & Davidson County need to raise our voices and tell our law makers to protect Music Row at all costs; to change laws where need be.
