Music Theatre for Youth are devastated to announce that we have received a 100% funding cut from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. MT4Uth is a charity that has made a huge impact of many young peoples live in Ireland! The amount of effort put in to build and develop something that GAVE more than it received being thrown down the drain is heart wrenching. The wonderful messages on Facebook from all the people having come through or having been touch by MT4Uth beeninspirationaland made us think that if a petition was started could we make a difference?! SO here we go! Let's see what we can do. I am asking you ALL for your help in this task! Even if the charity does have to close its doors lets make sure the name stays alive and people know how much it meant to all of us!!

MT4Uth had amazing plans for this year, producing Sweeney Todd with Jayne Wisener from Tim Burton's movie, Andrew Corcoran from the UK tour of Wicked, and Polly Bennett from the London 2012 Opening Ceremony. We have had ten amazing years of operation, produced amazing work, and presented top class musical theatre training to thousands of young people across Ireland, North and South. If we could help raise the funds to do this production and go out on a high, it would give us all the chance to give MT4Uth therecognitionit deserves!! COME ON, Lets make a change!
