Mr. Carnine is a teacher of integrity with the best interest of his students at the forefront of his teaching. I am embarrassed for the LAUSD school board that they will allow this to happen. What are we teaching our students? It seems that the bullies, the hate mongers and the rumor spreaders are being given the power.

EXACTLY!!! LAUSD needs to listen to more student witnesses who have stories like THIS to tell !!!!! Whatever happened to hearing all sides of the argument??

i was in class when he said those things and none of them were even the slight bit racist and he was looking at me the entire time when the girl says he was looking at her. i don't know what her problem is with mr carnine but he doesn't deserve this

I am also in his sixth period class and I can verify that everything Katie just said is true. I am writing the school a letter explaining what actually went on in class and I reccomend that you and anyone else who witnessed the events does as well.
