As an African American, I never felt that Mr Carnine was racist, not even once. He is one of the best teachers I have ever had, and I cannot stand to see him so falsely accused. I really hope that his life can return to normal after this.

Mr. Carnine has been the best teacher that two of my kids had. He is fantastic teacher and we need to make sure that his name will be cleared.

I had him last year for 8th grade history and I learned the exact same thing and he said the exact same thing. He literally said " as an example for stereotypes people think African American people are downgraded and only like basketball and certain foods. Another one is white people like Starbucks and etc." as a mixed black and white person in the class MYSLEF I wasn't offeneded like its a damn history lesson can he not teach? If she wants to be n attention whore and act like he meant it towards her an can't understand its a famn history lesson that's her problem. When we were learning about Lincoln and stuff HE LITERALLY WAS DISCUSTED SPELLING THE DAMN WORD OUT. Was I offended of such a word he used to teach us what was happening in the slavery times? No. I mean really growing up comes with maturity and sanity and because one fucking person didn't grow up fast enough and couldn't take a simple history lesson then maybe she should be homeschooled. the principle needs to get his shit together and get him back.
