Patrick Phillips, a beloved member of Breck Administration, has been given notice that his job will be eliminated at the end of this year. As a student of Breck School, I see it my duty to try to prevent his firing. In order to do this our voice must be heard. If you want your voice to be heard please put your name on this petition and offer your parents the opportunity to do the same.

I have been hearing so many stories about how Mr. Phillips helped people through rough patches and honestly it just confirms why this is so important to keep pushing. The silence coming from the front office is loud but it does not mean we are stopping because I am currently working on a way to get these names into the room where the decisions are actually being made.

I am a 16-year Breck parent of 4 kids (classes of ‘13, ‘15, ‘20 and ‘23). Patrick Phillips and the whole Phillips family are a gift to Breck School and the Breck community.
Mr. Phillips is a highly valued member of the Breck community, and losing him would be a terrible loss. I don't think Dr. Hernandez should be making such a irrevocable decision that will deeply affect current and future Breck students when she's been here for less than a year.
Transparency is important. I do not know what the circumstances are behind Mr. Phillips leaving; however, I sign this because I would like him to remain at Breck. I see his wife, Ainslie Phillips, and him at many events taking pictures, speaking to other Breck parents, and supporting Breck students. They present a friendly, welcoming face for Breck School.
Mr. Phillips has been an outstanding member of the administration ever since he was hired in 2015. He is always visible in the halls talking to students and he goes to community events whenever he can make it. He is also a track coach and avid supporter of the cross-country team.
Mr. Phillips is one of the most kind, caring, and determined teachers at Breck. I heard this horrible news because the entire senior commons was talking about it and how unfair this is - that’s how much of an impact he has. As a lifer and though I won’t be here next year, I feel that the light of Breck will dim without him there.
Patrick (and his family) are a great asset to Breck's administration, faculty, and community. We should be recruiting more familes who contribute as much as he/they do instead of eliminating.

Mr. Phillips is one of the kindest and most genuine faculty and people at Breck, and his absence in the hallways will feel empty. Not only Mr. Phillips, but his kids Grayson and Taylor add something to Breck that can’t be replaced and this descision is a huge mistake and loss for Breck.
