Mr Gravelle is one of those teachers who gained respect from pupils by giving them respect,he isn't one of those teachers that think that they should be respected just because of the position they hold. He was the only teacher that all three of my children actually learned from , he not only brought out their ability in their school work but also in other fields such as their interest in sports.He brought out the best in my children and they will always remember him as the one stand out teacher that they all respected. He was overlooked for the position of head on occasions and many of the parents thought that this was the wrong decision, now that he has become head to remove him from this position would be a great loss to the school , parents and children and a decision i personally think is the wrong one

Mr Gravelle was by far the most inspirational man I met through my time in the educational system. He was the only person who ever taught me something I could take in to the real world. He created an ability for me to deal with some anger issues I struggled with and embedded in me a never give up attitude, simply by doing his job. His integrity and genuine care for his pupils is something seldom seen anymore and it would be a great shame to take away those gifts from the many other children whose lives he could touch in the future.

Mr Gravell is a very strong link between parents and the school ....he understands our community and is doing a fantastic job ! Communication is great and any issues , he strives to resolve . To lose him would be detrimental to Maes y Morfa .... why fix what isn't broken ....

I fully support Rhys gravelle who taught myself and brothers and I think he is a fantastic teacher.

Amazing teacher, taught both my sons, he understands children and their individual needs, he proved that with my son.

Another wrong decision by school governors. What will happen is they will loose another excellent teacher/ leader as he will move to pastures new. Mr Gravelle hS done an excellent job since Mr Cudd left he deals with issues rather than sweeping under the carpet. Perhaps this is what they dont like..........

With a man of such integrity and upholding in the community I.sincerely hope that he will keep his position for many more years to come.

Mr Gravell was the best teacher I've ever had, he's a big part of Morfa school

This man is a legend in Morfa school he taught me to be the man I am today. Without his help I don't think I would of stayed in school and would never of been were I am now.

Fantastic teacher when I was in Morfa primary . Always puttin the pupils first and a really lovely man. Hope this helps and hope he gets the job he truly deserves.

Massive improvement within the school since mr.gravelle stepped into the position of head. Shame on the governors, for not seeing this, but then again it shouldn't be the governors that decide what is best for the school is it! The people that matter most are the pupils and no thought or consideration has been shown towards them either. I for one will be fighting for Mr gravelle position as head, like most people!!
