Good daycares are hard to come by. Let them run their daycare! Don't you have bigger fish to fry?

As a childcare provider myself, I would be devastated to lose my career and my families due to zoning. Having another location for daycare can be so costly and takes away from anything the children in care need. Please reconsider this choice, closing something that helps community members cab have some very negative effects.

It is so hard to find someone you trust to care for your children. Please allow this daycare to continue.

My niece goes to Miss Heather's daycare. I love seeing the updates from her day on Facebook. Lebanon needs to support small businesses and wonderful people like Miss Heather in our community.

They have really been working on 18 Harmon Dr. They’re are other people that watch kids in down and their houses are half as well kept outside.

I hope they reconsider keeping this daycare open she is wonderful with the kiddos and follows the rules why punish such a hard working person and the families she works for?

If the city council applies unreasonable restrictions on child care programs they will find they do not have enough child care spaces for the city’s economy to be properly maintained, it literally will not work!

If we can continuously rezone for McKendree, we should be able to for a hard-working woman who opens her heart to not only care for children during the day as her own but also to open her home to Foster children as well. Every person deserves the chance to care for their family and Heather does so with so much love in her heart. We should be doing all we can to help a neighbor.

I know Heather, and remember how excited she was when she received her state license to be a daycare provider. It’s not like she is renovating and converting her home into a business building like a law firm; she is providing childcare in the common areas of her home where she and her family reside. It’s still a home- let her continue to help other working parents have one less thing to worry about by taking care of their children in a loving (and state-sanctioned, if I may add!) environment.

The people who used to own my phone number had it listed as a daycare that has since gone out of business. l cannot tell you the amount of phone calls we used to get (and sometimes still do) for people looking for childcare. Please keep them open so they can help fulfill this desperately necessary need and blessing to Lebanon!

I believe the daycare should be able to keeping operating! The kids are happy there and the parents feel their children are safe and loved!
