The slippery slope will be activated if this moves forward. Precedent will be sent, and the mountainside will change. Wildlife are already struggling from human encroachment. Buy an existing home.

Please reject and deny the permits

Let the deer roam freely as they do right now! Keep Canyon Crest Road accessible! Don't kill ancient oak trees! A thumbs down on the new proposed development! Let's respect the Flora & Fauna of Millard Canyon.

Please don't let them destroy the canyon wall!

I Support Wild Life Corridor's....We will Perish as a Species ...if we keep sucking up The wild space around us..Fight Back..Space is the New Oil..and Altedena Still offers that..The builder need to consider the Old Walmart Space and stop Covering our Planet with Concrete. My Thoughts.

This house does not belong here especially at the height and size as designed.

This is my favorite place to hike, and the hike to the falls is a great hike for young children. I used to take my three year old, now twenty-one year old there to hike. It's a great starter trail. We just started going back when it was reopened. We love this place. I can also take my special needs son on this hike because it is not too complicated and it is safe.This is one trail he can handle, and I don't have to worry that he will get hurt. The fact that it is short is huge because he can handle it. Do not build here. That would be a crime against nature and humanity. We need to preserve these places. Our children need places to connect to nature for their health and well being. It is important that they have natural sanctuaries to find some peace and solitude for healthy minds to develop. Don't allow this place to be purchased and built on. That would be such a shame.

Please leave space for animals and plants to live. This world has to accommodate more than just people.

As a young adult, I hiked & camped at Millard Canyon. Now my son & his Boy Scout Troop are hiking & camping at this same location. Let's leave the land to our children. The land is much more valuable as natural open space, than it is as a glorified tract housing subdivision.

Leave the land alone

Infill, not sprawl! Stop developing our precious woodlands, tidal wetlands, riparian corridors and all other natural and wild spaces!

Planning commissions have a delicate task of balancing various needs and perspectives from the community. Certainly a healthy local economy is a strong need in a city or unincorporated area. Yet, that need must be balanced with other needs. As an avid hiker who moved to Altadena twenty years ago, I urge you to reconsider allowing this project to go forward. To my mind, the cost outweighs the benefit. Please reconsider?

I would be sorry to lose the beautiful natural landscape in this spot. We have always admired this narrow road when we walk up to the Meadows. It would be like replacing trees and an animal corridor with a wall along this stretch of Canyon Crest.

Keep Millard wild!

Keep upper Altadena free from more development. We need our wild spaces!
