Attending the meeting last night just proved the point I was trying to make, this has not been thought through properly, pointless and dangerous.

If it isn't broke don't fix it. Leave the fire station where it is.

The planned proposal for the new fire station is ridiculous! The noise will be detrimental to the school children. The road system will not support the extra traffic and the fire service call out time will be massively affected. The station does not need moving! "It could do with an upgrade" the words of an Ipswich firefighter at the hub meeting last night.

To move the firestation to the proposed site is lunacy on so many levels. I'm not opposed to it being moved but the infrastructure surrounding the proposal is clearly inadequate. This is ill thought through at least

The road from proposed site will slow response times. Lack of facilities too.

Most ridiculous part of the 'hub' plan. Putting the Hub plans before listening to people in the community. More importantly ignoring the views and concerns from the firefighters past and present. Ridiculousness at its best unfortunately.

For so many reasons I object to this move. I know this town and the way traffic moves. I know how we all go about our daily lives in Mildenhall. This just will not work and the public will suffer with delayed response times,

This move will most certainly put lives at risk. Nothing wrong with where it is now. Leave it alone!!!

(if it aint broke dont mend it) leave it where it is to struggle down Queensway during rush hour or with selfishly parked cars and vans would put lives at risk not to mention kids arriving and leaving school traffic

For the reasons of safety to the general public with delayed response times and children of the site of a school this is the wrong site to locate emergenct services

The Fire Station is fine where it is and it would be a very expensive folly to relocate it
LEAVE IT WHERE IT IS DOES NOT NEED TO BE MOVED

Take a step back and consider other options
