I do not believe that Midland can afford to lose the valuable members of the police force. They have spent years building relationships with the entire community.

This may look self serving but I believe other officers also deserve support from me. Even if you do not live in Midland the service reaches out to those who visit the town

They are well respected members of our community we need to show them support.
On a personal note, Constable Debb Brown assisted me in a time when my son was making poor decisions. She took a firm but empathetic tone with him and helped him make better decisions. She recognized that he was just a good kid making a bad decision. .. And didn't need to suffer the consequences for those actions.
