Removing this park? That’s a disgrace to the entire Middleburg Community!

I think it’s very important to save Mickey Gordon Park. My kids play ball there my grandchildren, play ball there, and my great grand children would love to play ball there but they’ve done away with the baseball field. Please help us save that park.

I struggle to think of a less environmentally friendly place could have been selected for this proposal. The carbon footprint attached to this site from journeys required to reach the destination will far outweigh any benefits to the Loudoun community. A more appropriate space closer to the community that will use the facility should be sought.

Increased traffic on rte 50 is too dangerous. Redevelopment is not supported by the community. The lights and noise will impede local resident’s quiet enjoyment of their property.

Please do not change the nature of Mickie Gordon. The proposed lighting alone will have such a detrimental impact.

It will become a major roadblock getting to Middleburg from the west (where most weekend traffic comes and goes

Please recognize that this is a totally inappropriate proposal for Mickie Gordon Park. It will destroy the historical significance of the park, as well as create traffic problems on a road that just can’t handle the traffic this would bring.

I'm against converting Mickie Gordon Park into cricket fields. There is too much traffic already with new homes. The traffic, the noise, the lights will ruin what Middleburg stands for.

Converting Mickie Gordon to a lighted cricket field complex would be inconsistent with the area's rich history and rural character. No, not a good idea.

Changing Mickie Gordon is a bad idea. Keep the proposed idea south of art 15

Betcha some of the County Supervisors are nursing a grudge against the "horsey set", and this is a kick in their well-heeled shins. Why not roll out the Big Gun of Sheila Johnson and take it the Board Chairwoman Phyllis Randall?

Eighteen 100 foot light towers during both the week days and weekend! No! Protect our night sky! We have lived on Carters Farm for 48 years. It is our home. Don't ruin it for us.

As a long resident of the area: This is not the place.

Once gone, it is gone forever. We cannot continue to allow this kind of inappropriate, indiscriminate development.

Changes to the park should be collaborative with the locals/neighbors and be in line with needs of the local community. In addition, the area can not support the traffic/crowds that would be coming to this quit rural area.
