MM brings so much depth & charisma to the character of Adam Newman. I am signing this petition in hopes that the decision makers at CBS will reconsider their choice and allow MM to return to the show.

Michael Muhney IS Adam Newman! He played the part perfectly. Even when he did awful things, you were still rooting for him. And then those scenes with him and Connor!!! Have you ever seen any other baby on set warm up to their "dad" like Connor did with Adam? He's perfectly believable and genuine. Y&R doesn't deserve him and they have lost me as a fan. But wherever Michael ends up (and who is going to pass on his talent?) I will be there supporting him.

The character of Adam Newman has been a roller coaster ride for me. Sometimes he is on top of the world, but more often than not, he is kicked down to the gutter. Michael Muhney has portrayed this character with such magnetism and sincereity. I know on daytime soaps actors and characters come and go, but this was the last straw for me. I am heartbroken to think that he will no longer be Adam, and I would rather not invest my time only to have my heart ripped out again.

So incredibly sad. I've been with Y&R since the beginning of time (I was 5 years-old and it was all about the Brookes and Fosters). Unfortunately, our love affair will end on January 31st when I delete that timer on my PVR. Michael is a brilliant actor who portrayed Adam better than any one could! The show has been lacking so much lately and tuning into to see what Adam was up to was the ONLY reason to watch. I'm sorry this happened to all of those involved, but I stand behind Michael. We've had a great run, Y&R, but it's time to say farewell. Sorry!

JFP is destroying this show one episode at a time. She is the most despicable thing that has happened to Y&R EVER, and I am a viewer since DAY ONE. Bringing in Steve Burton to suddenly play the long lost son of Nikki Newman, which has never even been HINTED at, yet alone discussed is absurd and ridiculous to expect long time viewers to believe. Do you know WHY these horrendous articles are appearing regarding Michael Muhney, Hunter King, and the backstage drama are taking front and center? It is because there is NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING on screen that diverts the attention of viewers to the ACTUAL SHOW! The storylines are garbage, characters are being destroyed, Victor is a putrid and vile character with ZERO redeeming qualities, and ratings WILL be in the toilet effective January 31, 2014. And that goes for ALL of CBS Daytime. I will NEVER purchase a single product advertised on CBS daytime, and I've already begun replacing my Sony products with others.

Michael Muhney made this show watchable. The writing has continued to be sub par and all the storylines are dismal. He's a terrific actor and I think he's been treated very poorly. I've recently stopped watching because I know where the stories are goiing and it's not what I want to see happen. Nobody ever seems to write for the fans. I'm tired of being disappointed. The show has been one of my habits since it's beginning. I'm done. Oh, btw, I plan to boycott any products being advertised during this time slot. Someone made a list and I will keep these things out of my cart. find that man a good job and I'll start buying again.
