I can not believe you would let Michael Muhney go...what a terrible decision. He's one of the main reasons I watch, and I agree with another post that he is one of the best things Y&R has left. He's totally unique, and is such a talented actor (he can actually get you to love his character even though he plays a sociopath.) He can show vulnerability as well as humor in a dark role. Really a terrible, terrible decision. You should apologize and beg him not to leave.

I was sickened when Michael tweeted that you let him go. My dvr auto record of Y&R will be discontinued on his last day.

I have watched the young and the Restless since the 70's and Finally thought the show was great since Adam Newman was played by Michael Muhney...I heard the news today that Muhney will no longer be on the show..I guess things will get a bit dull around Genoa City. Who are the writers these days???? Where is Phyllis...Crazy decisions !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO! NO! NO! Jill Farren Phelps, you are the WORST mistake Y&R ever made...hiring you. You have destroyed this show by getting rid of all the great and popular actors on this show. Michael IS Adam...there is no one else who can replace him. What a heartless thing to do right before Christmas!! Michael Muhney needs to stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This a real bad decision. I don't think the writers realize the impact this will have. And... Giving someone the boot right before Christmas .. Honestly classless.
