I've known Melvin for years now, an he's been nothing but a nice young man! I believe this was a huge mistake in his life! An he needs everyone's help to possibly better his future!!!

Please lower these charges, they do not fit. This is a great, genuion thoughtful, young person. He was raised w/o a father. Works full time,to help his mom. That should speak to the kind & caring person he is. He didn't hurt anyone nor has he in his past. He's a great son ,brother to 2 sister & 1 brother & 1 niece. Growing up he has lived in different places. It quite possible it was a place he had lived before,maybe if they had taken him home, since om1 was hurt nor would he intentionally hurt anyone,& may if the police had let him sober up , they could have questioned him & he probably would have said yes I lived there before & charges would have been different & speeking with him they would have seen his personality that he isn't a airigant person. He,,'s mild manord & respectful. These charges could ruin a good person who genuionly is a good person & doesn't deserve such harsh charges ,for not having a record. Community service sounds like a better fit. Please reconsider the charges,please read all the comments of family & friends who know him & watched him grow up . Not to mention his mother & I his ante that sees him & encourages & compliments him on for his age how thoughtful ,caring of others so easily he is. & to never allow anything to change that. But real adults know jail time w/change him, there's no reason for the severity of charges when he was trying to go home, didn't hurt anyone & for his 1st effence,the charges are to sever for all there is to consider. It is my prayer they are changed to lesson so we don't put him in a system that is severely flawed & is the charges. Please I plead on his behalf rethink everything & how these charges are hopefully changed so his future won't be damaged. That is my plea for my loving nephew PJ'

Thats sad they would do that to him. They wonder why people are the way they are now in days. They act like he hurt or killed someone he simply being a teenage boy. Being that age I'm sure most people get intoxicated so stupid things.

He is a good kid and we all make mistakes. We don't get do overs in life but rather we can amend the wrongs made n make them right and we can prevent injustice in the system and not locking up the future of society. Rather than putting energy into trying to lock up the youth who are trying to make a way for themselves in life and make a bad decision let's try to help them get back on their feet.

He doesn't deserve to be in jail because of intoxication. Yes he entered a house with out permission and you could say he was invading them which he was. But remember he had no intention to hurt anyone, he was obviously confused. Did he hurt anyone? No, I think he needs a slap on the wrist if it's his FIRST offence. Well depending on his age... but still, don't keep him in prison. He doesn't belong where murderers once have been, probably died in there to. Send this boy home to his family, people make mistakes. There are consequences for actions, I'm not denying that. But really ? Prison isn't the answer.

should be charged with at least un-deraged drinking, and at most breaking and entering... also, one can prevent this from happening by simply locking your front door.
