I have lived out here for 15 years. Many people have water wells that are dry. The loss of this lake is more than recreation. There is no water company to provide the basic necessity of water to this area, unlike San Antonio. With no water system, dry wells, a drained lake and a drought, we are basically camping out here. So sad that so many people are in this position. Every life out has been affected by the current state of this lake. All we can do is pray that it floods sometime in the next 100 years, hopefully sooner. I hope that the lawmakers have seen that there is a NEED for Medina Lake to be protected for future generations as well as the wildlife that reside in this area.

No water in the lake means no food on the table.
