I purchased land in Scenic Harbor 10 years ago with the intention of building a house with an amazing view to retire to. Not only is there no lake to see but there is a dying community where there used to be thriving businesses and generational memories of wonderful times at this lake. Every lake has been affected by the drought but NONE of them are in the state of Medina lake because they were managed properly. How many lives and businesses have been ruined by this mismanagement of this lake? .

I am the owner of Bullwinkles Lake Cabins. and because of the lack of water in Medina lake, my cabin rental business is almost at a point of failure. I am constantly having to pull money out of savings accounts and retirement in order to keep this business running. The irresponsibility of the owners of the dam is directly responsible for the lack of Lake business! I have invested my entire retirement savings into the construction of this business only to be very disappointed by the lack of business. I can't help but feel if the owners of the D lived out here, they would never have let it get this low. shame on them for poor management and the ruining of many businesses depended upon the lake.

It is such a shame that Medina Lake was not protected. In additon to the impact on the environment, the lack of protection of the lake has had an adverse impact on the economy. Please take immediate action to save Medina Lake. Thank you
