I have been in bandera for 5 yrs.one of the reason we moved here is because of the lake ,now that we have it we love that lake,it should be up to the community, I think that's wrong to drain it and take it away from the people who enjoy it.god filled it for a reason ,not for the higher ups to take it away. what happened to the citizens rights, we pay for it being there.if it works y mess with it.

We would not exist without the farmer, but better water mgmt is needed. Also make sure the farmer is not growing a crop that requires the most water useage and farming a crop strictly for the gov money

Is it possible for the land owner at the lake to buy the water right from the farm?or is it possible form the land owner at the lake to pay BMA money to keep the lake above the 1055 level if so how much would it cost.

A little foresight by lake management would go a long way to prevent a reoccurence.
