Don't change Phoenixville into a suburb. This is one of the best attractions for a nice little community.

This isn't legal. I'm missing something. The school board doesn't have eminent domain powers. I don't think the township it self has such powers only the state unless im missing something in pa law. Regardless there has been many a lawsuit that have gone against eminent domain in the past few years. I doubt phoniexville has the cash to ride out the legal process. fight them if you want to keep the property if yoh don't hold out for fair market value.

When will it be your turn? When will the local government seize your land? I'm against these jerks taking it for a school they can't even pay for in the first place.

I behind Meadowbrook all the way. My son has played on that course since he was young and grew up playing there still today and now works there. I have known Bruce for many years and would hate to see this happen. I can't believe the school district is doing this. They should be concentrating on much thats happening in their school.

Nothing is more Un-American than the unprovoked taking of private property. I can only imagine what kind of fascism is being promoted by the PASD to its students. Long live The Brook!

Although we are not residents, we have family in Phoenixville and have been visiting for many years., sometimes twice a year. My husband has played many times at Meadowbrook and is extremely upset about the possible closure. We vote to overturn the decision to give the grounds to the school.

Unless Meadowbrook wants to sell, I think it shouldn't just be taken.

Doesn't seem like this is the right use of eminent domain.
